Logistics / Warehousing

At DDI we'll handle all aspects of the importation of goods. From shipment coordination to tracking, freight documentation, duties, customs clearance, and inland transport. As an NVOCC we can oversee every aspect of the logistics from factory floor to your door. DDI will provide timely and accurate communication of transit information as well as handling duty classifications and custom clearances. Let DDI absorb the time consuming aspects of the importation process.

Freight Consolidation

You primarily have two options to send a shipment overseas via ocean freight. One is in an exclusive container and the other is via consolidation services. The idea behind consolidating containers is to load small shipments into one large container. This way, the shippers can share the cost of the ocean freight and reduce the overall cost of their move. With DDI, we can arrange for your product to arrive in our overseas warehouse where we can oversee the loading of the container. By doing so we can assure you of the best possible outcome. Having your product arrive per your specifications, on time, and cost effectively.

In addition to our overseas warehousing capabilities we also have our own stateside warehouse. Our modern centrally located warehouse is insured and fully equipped with burglar and fire protection systems. We offer temperature-controlled facilities and can accommodate space requirements of all sizes. Our flexible infrastructure and knowledgable staff allow us to effectively respond to the ever-changing and last-minute demands of our clients.

We will have your product produced for you overseas, consolidated in one of our containers and then shipped to your warehouse in the U.S.

We have your product manufactured overseas, shipped to your warehouse in the U.S. where it is inventoried. We'll track your consumption needs/forecast and ensure we are always in stock to deliver just in time.

We manufacture a variety of products or parts overseas and consolidate them into a container to be shipped to the U.S. The entire container of goods is transported to your store or factory, eliminating expensive handling.
